This wine, sourced from grapes grown in vineyards planted more than 100 years ago in Quebrada de San Luis, Cafayate, honours the determination of our forefathers. Our mission is to protect this historical legacy and express our identity through such special fruit.
These Tannat grapes were planted more than 100 years ago and trained to parrales, or overhead pergolas. They grow on soils with intrusive and decomposed granite and metamorphic rocks.
Destemming and crushing. Fermentation in concrete tanks with indigenous yeasts. Minimal SO 2 use. No added nutrients, enzymes or acids.
